tour news: circle of reason

Alt-rock metaller’s Circle of Reason will be bringing their mix of classic rock sounds, metal riffs and prog-rock influences to the north of England this November on their Static Tour.

Starting on 9th of November in Liverpool this 2 week long tour takes in plenty of decent venues in the North of this country visiting Hull, Bridlington, Manchester and Sheffield along the way before finishing up on November 17th in Leeds. Having already built up quite an impressive amount of shows in such a short space of time supporting the likes of InMe, Feed The Rhino and Floods, the band are setting out on their own.

Chugging riffs and pounding drums, the foundations of any good metal song, are prevalent here and there is a hint of Smashing Pumpkins sound running throughout. Understandable when Circle of Reason count that band as one of their influences along with Deftones and Queens of the Stone Age. The standard metal sounds and mix of their influences as well as their creativity musically has created an interesting sound for the band with huge, sing along choruses and a catchiness rarely found in a lot of metal music.

Hailing from the South West of the UK, this quartet have already caught the attention of the alternative music media with Kerrang TV, Scuzz and Big Cheese Magazine all having featured them in some way. This came after the release of their first EP ‘A Favour For A Stranger’ last year. Now though the band have just released their next EP ‘These Hands & This Mind’, which is available to buy through iTunes now, and the tour this November will be in support of that.

Below are the tour dates for the Static Tour and if you are from the North of England there is no doubt they will be playing somewhere near you very soon:
